    Shipping Rules & Acceptable Use

    Last updated: July 2026

    Shipping Rules & Acceptable Use

These Shipping Rules & Acceptable Use terms explain how approved retailers may use FlipShip services, courier support, shipping labels and related guidance.

They form part of our Terms & Conditions.

    1. Purpose of this policy

FlipShip provides shipping support for approved retailers selling products that may need more than a normal courier label.

This policy helps protect FlipShip, our customers, courier partners, delivery recipients and the wider transport network by setting out what can and cannot be done when using our services.

    2. Approval is required before shipping

FlipShip support is only available after review and approval.

You must not use FlipShip services, courier labels, courier account details, shipping guidance or support for any shipment unless the product, packaging, quantity, destination and route have been reviewed and approved by FlipShip.

Approval may be limited to specific:

    - Products
    - Product quantities
    - Packaging formats
    - Parcel sizes and weights
    - Collection addresses
    - Delivery destinations
    - Courier services
    - Shipping routes
    - Transport modes

If anything changes, you must tell FlipShip before shipping.

    3. Products must match the reviewed setup

You must only ship products that match the information reviewed by FlipShip.

You must not use FlipShip services for:

    - Unreviewed products
    - Substituted products
    - Products with different contents or ingredients
    - Products packed differently from the approved setup
    - Higher quantities than approved
    - Different parcel sizes or weights than declared
    - Products sent to destinations that have not been approved
    - Products where the SDS/MSDS or transport information has changed
    - Products that the courier does not accept

If your product, packaging, supplier, formulation, quantity, parcel size or destination changes, you must contact FlipShip before using the service.

    4. Accurate information must be provided

You are responsible for making sure all information supplied to FlipShip is accurate, complete and up to date.

    This includes:

    - Product descriptions
    - Product contents
    - SDS/MSDS documents
    - Product classifications
    - Packaging information
    - Product photographs, where requested
    - Parcel weights and dimensions
    - Shipment quantities
    - Collection addresses
    - Delivery addresses
    - Destination type
    - Delivery notes
    - Customer contact details
    - Any information requested by FlipShip or the courier

FlipShip relies on the information you provide. Incorrect, incomplete or outdated information may result in shipments being refused, delayed, returned, held, cancelled or treated as non-compliant.

    5. Prohibited use

You must not use FlipShip services to ship:

    - Illegal goods
    - Counterfeit goods
    - Stolen goods
    - Products prohibited by the courier
    - Products prohibited by law or regulation
    - Products not reviewed and approved by FlipShip

    - Products exceeding the approved quantity, weight or size
    - Shipments to unapproved destinations
    - Shipments using false, incomplete or misleading information
    - Any product FlipShip has told you cannot be supported

You must not attempt to bypass FlipShip review, courier approval or shipping restrictions.

    6. Dangerous Goods and regulated products

Some products may be subject to Dangerous Goods, Limited Quantity, Excepted Quantity, courier-specific or other regulated shipping requirements.

This may include products such as safety matches, fragrance, reed diffusers, room sprays, candles, essential oils and mixed gift sets.

You must not treat these products as normal parcels unless FlipShip has reviewed and approved the product, packaging, quantity, destination and shipping route.

Regulated products sent incorrectly may be stopped, delayed, returned or refused. In more serious cases, businesses may face courier account restrictions, enforcement action, fines or prosecution.

    7. Packaging responsibilities

You are responsible for packing goods safely, securely and in line with any instructions provided.

Packaging must be suitable for the product, quantity, courier route and destination.

FlipShip may refuse support where packaging is unsuitable or has not been reviewed.

You must follow any instructions given by FlipShip about labels, marks, documentation or packaging.

    You must not:

    - Alter courier labels
    - Reuse courier labels
    - Duplicate labels
    - Apply labels to unapproved parcels
    - Use labels for different products or destinations
    - Remove required marks or documentation
    - Cover, damage or obscure shipping labels or required markings
    - Create your own regulated shipping labels unless agreed in writing

Where FlipShip provides label support, the label must only be used for the shipment it was created for.

    9. Courier account and access rules

Where FlipShip provides access to a courier process, portal, login, label process or account structure, you must use it only as agreed.

    You must not:

    - Share access with unauthorised users
    - Allow third parties to use your access
    - Use the account for unapproved shipments
    - Use the account for another business unless agreed
    - Create shipments outside the approved process
    - Attempt to change pricing, account settings or courier restrictions
    - Misuse courier services, labels, collections or systems

Any misuse may result in immediate suspension or cancellation of support.

    11. Offshore, island and non-mainland destinations

UK Mainland shipping is supported as standard at launch, subject to review and approval.

Offshore, island and non-mainland destinations are reviewed separately.

These destinations may require additional checks, paperwork, courier approval, route review, customs information, Dangerous Goods documentation or different shipping arrangements.

You must not send shipments to offshore, island or non-mainland destinations unless FlipShip has confirmed support for that destination and shipment type.

    12. Surcharges and additional costs

FlipShip may refuse, pause, cancel or investigate any shipment where we believe there may be a safety, courier, compliance, regulatory, documentation or operational issue.

We may also suspend or cancel support if we believe a customer is misusing the service or creating risk for FlipShip, courier partners, delivery recipients or the transport network.

    15. Consequences of misuse

If you breach this policy, FlipShip may:

    - Refuse a shipment
    - Cancel a label
    - Pause your account
    - Suspend your access
    - Terminate services
    - Pass on courier charges or penalties
    - Refuse future support

You remain responsible for any costs, losses, surcharges, claims, penalties or consequences caused by incorrect information, misuse of the service or shipment of unapproved goods.

    16. No guarantee of shipment acceptance

Approval by FlipShip does not guarantee that a courier will accept, carry or deliver every shipment.

Couriers may refuse, delay, return, hold, cancel or suspend shipments for operational, safety, compliance, route, weather, customs, service or regulatory reasons.

Shipping services, routes, courier rules and destination availability may change at any time.

    17. Customer data and delivery details

Where you provide recipient or customer delivery details, you must ensure you have the right to share that information with FlipShip for shipping and fulfilment purposes.

You must make sure your own customers are given appropriate privacy information.
